Harmanpreet Kaur, India's white-ball captain, gave the first peek at the team's new Test uniform on Sunday. The players have received their all-white uniforms in preparation for the forthcoming one-off Test against England in June, which will be followed by a historic day/night match against Australia later in the year.
Harmanpreet Kaur shared the images on her Instagram stories while interacting with followers in an impromptu Q&A session.
The uniform appeared to be the same as the men's Test jersey used during the Australian tour and the home series against England. Kaur also proudly displayed the rear of her jersey, which included her name 'Harman' beside her kit number 7.

Currently, in Mumbai, Indian women are undergoing compulsory quarantine. On 2nd June, they will depart for the United Kingdom. The four-day Test against England will begin on 16th June, followed by three one-day internationals and as many T20Is as is customary in women's cricket.
This is India's first Test after a seven-year gap. The Mithali Raj-led South Africa Women's team played their final red-ball match in India in 2014/15. The Indian team won that game by an innings and 34 runs, capping up a three-match winning streak before the big break.
Harmanpreet Kaur, along with Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami, is one of the few players with Test experience who will take the field against England. Kaur has played in two international matches in the longest format, averaging 8.66 runs per innings.
The white-ball skipper will aim to make an impression in the Test arena while continuing to improve her limited-overs performances.
