First batch leaves for Amarnath Yatra amid security, huge enthusiasm among devotees
For the last 2 years, this yatra was closed due to Corona, which has been started this year which is going to start from 30th and will run till 11th August.

The first batch of Shiva devotees left Jammu under tight security for the Darshan of Amarnath Yatra Baba Barfani. Officials said that this time more attention is being paid to medical facilities. No one will be allowed to travel without registration or medical certificate.
After 2 years, Amarnath Dham has started again, due to which there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees. The registration for the yatra was started from 11th April itself and around 3 lakh registrations have been done.
This yatra will be done simultaneously through the traditional double route. One route is 48 km long Nunwan in Pahalgam of South Kashmir. The other is the 14-km-long Baltal route at Ganderbal in central Kashmir. Today, the Lieutenant Governor of Kashmir, Manoj Sinha flagged off the first batch, in which more than 3000 pilgrims left for the Kashmir Valley.
