Russia has opposed Finland joining NATO. His Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Grushko said – Every action of NATO is being monitored. We are also going to increase our security circle. If NATO forces are stationed in Finland, we will take some more steps.

Turkey and Hungary are the two countries that were creating problems for the inclusion of Finland and Sweden in NATO. He also imposed many conditions. For this reason both the countries were facing difficulty in getting membership. However, Finland has joined this group, now Sweden is on the lookout.
Last week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had held talks with the Turkish Foreign Minister on the matter of making Sweden a member. The most important condition for the inclusion of a new member in NATO is that every member of the group agrees on it. NATO said in a statement – Sweden will not be left alone at any cost.
