FIFA World Cup: Japan beat Germany 2-1 in the Group E match

On Wednesday, Japan surprised Germany by defeating Germany 2-1 in the Group E match (Germany vs Japan) at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha. After Saudi Arabia's victory over Argentina, there is another big upset in Qatar World Cup. Germany scored the first goal by getting a penalty in the 33rd minute. But making a spectacular comeback in the second half, Japan first equalized and then scored another goal in the 83rd minute to take the lead, which they continued till the final whistle. This is a big blow for the four-time champion team after Ilkay Gundogan started the scoring in the match.

Hosts Qatar were defeated 0-2 in the first match of the tournament. This was the first defeat in the history of the Football World Cup by a host team in the first match. In this match, the captain of the winning team Ecuador, Inner Valencia scored two goals but amidst all this, the hearts of the whole world were won by the Japanese spectators who were seen cleaning the stadium after the match was over.

This is not the first time Japanese fans have won everyone over by doing such things. Earlier, during the FIFA World Cup held in Russia in 2018, the Japanese audience had won everyone's heart. Meanwhile, after the opening ceremony, many Japanese football fans were seen cleaning the stadium after the first match between Russia and Colombia.
