Female constable of Delhi Police hanged herself, dead body found hanging in the house

A woman constable of Delhi Police committed suicide by hanging herself in Chhawla police station area. No suicide note was found near the spot. Police is probing the matter by sending the body for postmortem. Police officials said that at 9 am on Thursday, a woman was reported to have committed suicide by hanging herself in Goyla Dairy area. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The name of the deceased woman is Ganga Meena.

She was working as a constable in Delhi Police and these days she was working in the Security Department. Ganga Meena's husband is also working in Delhi Police and his posting is in Traffic Police. It is being told that these days Ganga Meena was posted under the security of Parliament.

She was admitted to Delhi Police in 2018. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The police is interrogating the relatives to find out why Ganga took this extreme step.
