Father Introduces Son to ‘Best Batsman in the World’ Virat Kohli: An adorable video has captured the hearts of many, featuring an Australian father introducing his son to Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli in the most heart-warming way.
In the video, a father can be heard describing Kohli as the ‘best batsman in the whole world’ as his son as the father and son duo watch the Indian batting talisman bat in nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), ahead of the Boxing Day Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) in Australia.

Notably, Kohli has scored over 2,000 runs and averages an impressive 46.12 against the mighty Aussies. As a result, not only in India, the Delhi-based batter is considered a youth icon but also away from home as well.
“Alright, so, Jamie, look over there, you see that fourth batsman right at the end? His name is Virat Kohli. He’s the best batsman in the whole world," the dad says in the video.

This is most likely the last Test tour of Australia for the Indian superstar, who hit his first Test century in this country in 2012 and began his Test captaincy tenure here, too, in 2014. On the field, it has been a mixed bag for Kohli — he hit an unbeaten century in the second innings of the first Test in Perth, which India won, but has failed in the four other innings.
The 36-year-old batter will hope to pull inspiration from his record at the MCG to return to form in the remaining series matches. So far in the series, he has been able to score 316 runs in three matches here, with an average of 52.67.
With the series level at 1-1, following one victory apiece for both teams and a recent draw in the third Test at the Gabba, all eyes will be on him to deliver when it counts.
