Fast bowler S. Sreesanth retired from Cricket

Bowler S. Sreesanth announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday. Sreesanth had been away from cricket for a long time due to the investigation into the allegations of match-fixing. He returned to the pitch in the Ranji Trophy for Kerala this season, but did not find much success. 39-year-old Sreesanth, who played 27 Test matches, 53 ODIs and 10 T20 matches for India, got just two wickets in the Ranji Trophy match against Meghalaya.

Sreesanth was part of India's teams that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup. In the final match on the ball of Joginder Sharma, he made the team champion by taking the catch of Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq. Apart from cricket, he has also worked in many TV shows and films.
