Famous poet Wasim Barelvi victim of road accident, admitted in Delhi hospital

Famous poet Wasim Barelvi has come in the grip of a road accident. Wasim Barelvi's car, returning from Delhi after attending Mushaira, met with an accident on the National Highway near Hapur in Uttar Pradesh. He has been injured in this accident. However, the 82-year-old Shire is out of danger and is being treated at BLK Hospital in Delhi.

His relatives said that Barelvi had gone to Bahrain a few days back to attend a Mushaira. On his return, he was going from Delhi to Bareilly, when his car collided with a dumper while passing through Hapur. Barelvi sustained injuries in his left hand and shoulder. According to the X-ray report, he has two fractures in his left hand. A family member said that his condition has improved and he will be discharged from the hospital soon.

Poet Akil Nomani was also in Wasim Barelvi's car while returning from Delhi. Wasim Barelvi and Nomani had gone to Bahrain to attend a Mushaira. Both came to Delhi together by flight, after which they were returning to Bareilly by car.
