Factionalism intensified in Uttarakhand Congress just before the election, party office became an arena

Factionalism in Uttarakhand Congress is not taking the name of ending. After the meeting in Delhi, everything seemed fine after Harish Rawat's displeasure was removed, but a different ruckus broke out in the state Congress headquarters. Here the Congress leaders and workers clashed with each other and there was a fierce scuffle. Former Minister of State Rajendra Shah has even alleged that Harish Rawat's supporters have thrashed him.

It is being told that Congress leader Rajendra Shah was accused by the supporters of Harish Rawat that he has abused Rawat. Due to which there was a scuffle with them. Harish Rawat supporters asked Shah to leave and also pushed. At present, the state Congress is seen in the mode of damage control regarding this matter. On the other hand, BJP leaders have got a very good opportunity to surround the Congress.

At present there are two factions in Uttarakhand Congress. One faction is of Harish Rawat, who is the party's potential chief ministerial candidate. On the other hand, the other faction is of former state president and current Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh. Who is considered a staunch opponent of Harish Rawat. It is being told that as the elections are approaching, the war between these two factions is intensifying. Since the party has not yet announced the chief ministerial candidate, the Pritam Singh faction is constantly trying to create an atmosphere inside the party against Rawat.

Intensified factionalism in the Congress just before the assembly elections can prove fatal for the party. The Congress leadership ended their displeasure by calling Harish Rawat and State President Godiyal to Delhi, but it is necessary to stop the continuing factionalism in the party. Since now Harish Rawat's hands have been opened and he has been entrusted with the command of elections, it will be a big challenge for him to stop this factionalism at least till the elections.
