External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar meets Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, says Bilateral Relations Strengthened
In India's continuous attempts in strengthening diplomatic discourse, the Minister, S. Jaishankar met Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He wrote a tweet in "Bengali" mentioning bilateral relations incrementing.

The External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar is on a 3-day visit to Bangladesh. In India's continuous attempts in strengthening diplomatic discourse, the Minister, S. Jaishankar met Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Mr. Jaishankar wrote a tweet mentioning, "Thank Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her warm reception. Conveyed personal greetings of PM Narendra Modi. Our bilateral relations are moving from strength to strength under the guidance of the two leaders. The Minister also shared the entire tweet in the Bengali Language.
The Minister also met with the Bangladesh FM Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen. He tweeted, "Agreed that our close neighborly partnership is progressing steadily. Our shared endeavor would be to take it forward. Looking forward to hosting him for the Joint Consultative Commission."
As per our sources, Mr. Jaishankar's trip to Bangladesh is aimed at preparing the grounds for Sheikh Hasina, who'll be visiting India. In an earlier statement, the Ministry of External Affairs wrote, "The forthcoming visit of the external affairs minister to Bangladesh may be seen in the context of frequent bilateral high-level visits and exchanges particularly as both sides commemorate 50 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties."
