India-Pakistan Tensions: Suspected drone movement has been seen over Rajasthan's Jaisalmer, Phalodi and Pokhran areas on Saturday afternoon in the wake of increasing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Explosions have been reported in and around Pokhran with intermittent blasts continuing in the distance.
The authorities have confirmed several explosions and said that there seems to be "some activity" close to the border regions.
Security personnel, who are on high alert, have instructed the locals to remain indoors until further notice.

The news comes after several border regions in Rajasthan were put on high alert.
Earlier today, Rajasthan's Barmer, Sri Ganganagar, and Jodhpur district administrations declared a red alert and asked people to go back home.
In Barmer, the district collector asked all markets to be shut and all public activities to stop instantly at about 10am.
“All residents are ordered to return to their homes immediately. Markets must be closed, and all public movement is to cease with immediate effect. Authorities have been directed to ensure strict enforcement of these orders. This is an urgent notice,” an order by the district collector said.

In Jaisalmer, markets were shut down as a precautionary measure. The police continuously appealed to the public not to gather in public places.
Pakistan attacked Barmer with a string of drone strikes on Friday night. Between 9 pm and 5.15 am, dozens of drones tried to enter Indian airspace.
But the Indian Air Defence System intercepted and neutralised all the drones in mid-air. All the neutralisations took place between a 7–8 km radius of Barmer city. The last one was reported at 5.15am on Saturday.
