Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow. In such a situation, tight security arrangements have already been made in the state. Sharing the information on internet media, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted that an encounter with terrorists has started in Baskuchan area of Shopian. Police and security forces have started to eliminate the terrorists. Meanwhile, a senior police officer said that around two to three terrorists have been cordoned off at the encounter site. Before firing, the security forces also gave an opportunity to the terrorists to surrender but they did not listen and continued firing. Surrounding areas have been evacuated.
