“Elon Musk Says He’s Providing ‘Tech Support’ to Trump: Tesla CEO and DOGE Head, Elon Musk, opened up about the delay in the implementation of the executive orders signed by US President Donald Trump, blaming the US bureaucracy for it and saying they are “fighting against the will of the people”.

He further elaborated on how the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is working to make sure that the executive orders are implemented thereby making way for democracy over bureaucracy.

During an interview with Fox News that was made public on Tuesday, Musk described his role as providing tech support for President Donald Trump.

"What we're doing here… is making sure that presidential executive orders are carried out," Musk said, adding, "If the bureaucracy is fighting the will of the people and preventing the president from implementing what the people want, then what we live in is a bureaucracy and not a democracy."

Since the president is the elected representative of the people, his works are representing the "will of the people", Musk said. He added, "if the bureaucracy is fighting the one of the people, and preventing the president from implementing what the people want. Then what we live in is a bureaucracy and not a democracy."

The billionaire's remarks gain significance in the backdrop of the White House clarifying his role in the Trump administration. An official filing noted that Musk is by no means a formal employee of the DOGE and does not hold "formal authority to make government decisions".

During the discussion, Hannity remarked on the dynamic between Trump and Musk, joking, “It feels like I’m interviewing two brothers here.”

Wearing a t-shirt that read “tech support,” Musk stated that his primary role was to provide technological support to the president. He emphasised the importance of executing executive orders, saying, “If the bureaucracy is fighting the will of the people and preventing the president from implementing what the people want, then what we live in is a bureaucracy, not a democracy.”

Trump praised Musk’s efficiency in executing executive orders, stating, “He gets the executive order done. There used to be signed executive orders, but no work got done. He and his genius team make sure they are executed."
