Electric transmission collapsed in Pakistan, many cities including Lahore and Karachi plunged into darkness

Electricity can be saved to some extent but despite this, the condition of Pakistan is continuously deteriorating. Now he has to deal with major breakdown. Earlier in October 2022, there was a breakdown of 12 hours in Lahore and Karachi. This is the second major breakdown in Pakistan during the last four months.

Pakistan, which is suffering from economic crisis and inflation, has suffered another major setback. At present, the news of collapse of electric transmission is coming in Pakistan. The power supply has been badly disrupted. Due to this, many big cities of the country including Lahore and Karachi have been plunged into darkness. This has created panic among the people. Everyday life has been affected. Due to non-availability of electricity, these areas are also facing water shortage. From health services to other important works have been affected.

Imran Rana, the spokesperson of K-Electric in Pakistan, said that this major breakdown has happened due to fault in the transmission line. He said that the reasons are being ascertained. So that the supply can be started again. According to Geo News, most of the cities of Pakistan have lost power due to major breakdown. This has created a stir. The cities of Lahore and Karachi have seen the maximum number of breakdowns. It is being told that due to the sudden failure of the transmission line, there is a power failure in Pakistan since 7.30 am. Due to this, the functioning of various departments and companies, medical and surveillance services have also been affected.

Due to poor economic system, the government of Pakistan had already started cutting electricity from January itself. People are already troubled by the rising prices of food items along with electricity. In order to control the energy requirements, the Government of Pakistan had issued an order to close all types of establishments including hotels, restaurants and other shops daily from 8 pm. So that electricity can be saved to some extent but despite this, the condition of Pakistan is continuously deteriorating. Now he has to deal with major breakdown. Earlier in October 2022, there was a breakdown of 12 hours in Lahore and Karachi. This is the second major breakdown in Pakistan during the last four months.
