Eight-year-old girl kidnapped and murdered after rape in Raipur, 14-year-old accused arrested

A heart-wrenching incident has come to the fore from Raipur. Here a minor has been arrested on the charge of killing an eight-year-old girl after kidnapping and raping her. According to the information given by the police, the girl was missing since December 7. After which a case of kidnapping was registered.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Raipur district Prashant Aggarwal said that the police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the kidnapping, rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in the assembly station area of ​​the city. Aggarwal told that on the 7th of this month, the girl had suddenly gone missing from Saddu area of ​​the city, after which her relatives had lodged a complaint with the police station.

The police officer said that on December 13, the body of the girl was recovered from an empty land in Saddu area. According to him, when the post-mortem of the girl's body was done, it was found that she had been strangulated and raped. Aggarwal said that while analyzing the footage collected from the CCTV cameras installed at the place where the girl's body was recovered, the police suspected a boy living in the same area.
