ED seeks Manish Sisodia's 10-day remand from court, will be presented in court at 2 pm
The Rouse Avenue court has allowed the ED to produce Sisodia. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the Excise Policy case of Delhi. There was a possibility of his exit today, but he was arrested by the ED on Thursday even before the bail hearing. Manish Sisodia was arrested on February 26 after a long interrogation by the CBI for not cooperating in the investigation.

The bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be heard today. ED has sought 10 days remand of Manish Sisodia. The court has issued production warrant of Sisodia to the jail authority. Manish Sisodia will be presented at Rouse Avenue Court at 2 pm. ED told the court that Sisodia has been told the ground of arrest. CCTV footage has been recorded during the interrogation of Sisodia. The Rouse Avenue court has allowed the ED to produce Sisodia. On the other hand, on Thursday, the Central Investigation Agency, Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sisodia inside Tihar Jail No. 1 in the case of money laundering. ED has so far arrested 12 people in the excise case. Based on Sisodia's statements, the ED arrested him after questioning him twice. According to ED sources, in the interrogation of Manish Sisodia, questions were also raised about KCR's daughter's role in the excise case and kickback of 100 crores and he has been arrested for not giving satisfactory answers to many questions.
The ED will interrogate Kavitha, the daughter of the Chief Minister of Telangana, on March 11 in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy. Earlier, the ED called him for questioning on 9 March but K Kavita had sought time from the ED. The CBI has already questioned him in this matter. Manish Sisodia was arrested on 26 February last month. Special CBI Judge MK Nagpal sent Sisodia to judicial custody for 14 days. CBI's lawyer had said that Sisodia's further remand is not being sought, but in the next 15 days, if needed, custody can be sought again.
