ED raids more than 25 places in Delhi's liquor policy case
According to the FIR registered in this case, without taking permission from the competent authorities, the accused public servants played an important role in taking the decision regarding the excise policy. In the Kejriwal-led Delhi government, Sisodia has some other portfolios including excise and education.

In Delhi's liquor policy case, raids are going on at more than 25 places of ED. So far, the ED has raided more than 150 locations in this case. Along with this, some arrests have also been made in this case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Abhishek Boinpally in connection with the alleged Excise scam in Delhi. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is an accused in this case.
BJP is already attacking AAP over Delhi's liquor policy. The policy, implemented by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 17, 2021, was withdrawn in July this year when Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena recommended a CBI inquiry into its implementation. The CBI had registered a case against the accused public servants including Deputy Chief Minister Manish and other unidentified persons under the Indian Penal Code and other anti-corruption laws.
