Earthquake tremors were felt in California, USA. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.2 on the Richter scale. According to US time, the epicenter of the quake, which struck at 12 noon on Monday, was about 337 km northwest of the city of San Francisco.

According to the US Geological Survey, residents of the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas reported tremors. No casualties have been reported from the earthquake.
