Earthquake of Magnitude 5.0 Jolts Nepal, Tremors Felt Across North India
On Friday, Nepal witnessed an earthquake measuring approximately 5.0 on the Richter scale with mild tremors reported in a few areas of Northern India.

As per the recording of the India National Centre for Seismology, the country experienced the quake at 7.52 in the evening (local time), and at a depth of 20km into earth. However, no casualty or damage has yet been reported.

A user wrote on X, "Much like dinosaurs' extinction, I have felt another quake. It lasted around 20 sec, just low intensity. I was in the office during tremor. Just as if by magic, after 5minutes, I got notification from my phone telling how Nepal was the epicenter."
As per Android Earthquake Alerts System today, it was epicentered nearest to Garkhakot, Nepal within a radius of 3 kilometers. Most actively moving tectonic regions of cause earthquakes within Nepal, a neighboring country to India.

Most importantly, this happened just a week ago when a deadly quake struck Myanmar. It shook a section of the region so forcefully that initial reports indicated almost three thousand had perished and upwards of four thousand five hundred were injured by the tenacity of its intensity among which was found 7.7 magnitude in brilliance. The epicenter was located close to Mandalay-myanmar second largest city.
The earthquake rocked neighbouring States in China, Thailand, and India, with patches of Vietnam also experiencing it. The local media would, according to sources, report on the much heavier toll than authorities would give.
