However, if you update your Aadhaar cars before June 14 then it will done for free and if you update it after the deadline date then a minimum cost will be charged to you.
Last month a rumoured spread that created a huge commotion among people that if a person hasn’t updated his/her Aadhar card for more than 10 years then his/her Aadhaaar card will be locked. However, this rumor was not true as reported by UIDAI.

How to update your Aadhaar Card Online?
To update your Aaadhar card you need to follow the below steps:
- You have to visit the official website of UIDAI i.e. myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
- Then, log in using your Aadhaar card and enter the OTP that you will receive on your registered mobile number.
- After you have logged in, check all the details such as address, number, etc.
- If you find any details are wrong, then change them and put the right one.
- After that, upload all the necessary identity documents.
- After you are done with everything, click on submit.
- Your Aadhaar card details will be updated.
If you want to update your Aadhaar card details online then you can do so by visiting any nearby Aadhaar card centres. You can visit bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar to find nearby centres by entering your Pin code.
