Legendary Bollywood superstar was brought to Mumbai's Khar Hinduja hospital on Sunday owing to shortness of breath. Doctors are keeping an eye on the 98-year-old actor for now and working to stabalise his health.

The actor’s wife and former actress Saira Banu provided an update on his condition. She revealed veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been hospitalised to Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital. According to his wife, Saira Banu, he has been suffering respiratory problems for the past several days.

Saira Banu informed that Dilipsahab was brought to the hospital on Khar Road at 8.30 a.m. when he became short of breath.

She said that the doctors are treating him, and a few tests were done for which they were awaiting results.

The devoted wife pleaded people to lease pray for him so that he feels better, and he can be taken home as soon as possible.

A tweet post was sent from Dilip Kumar's official account. It said, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”

Dilip Kumar was hospitalised even last month but was ultimately released thankfully. He was admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital for two days after a couple of his vital signs were abnormal.

Updates regardingDilip Kumar’s health were rife amongst media and WhatsApp forwards carried out fake news about his death, which led to her official Twitter account clarifying this horrendous rumour.

Don’t believe in WhatsApp forwards.
Saab is stable.
Thank you for your heart-felt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days. Insh’Allah.
