Digital platform will be launched soon for road safety, one stop solution will be available during emergency

The International Road Federation (IRF) is soon going to launch a digital platform, where users will be able to access every single information related to road safety. Even through this platform, users will be able to take advantage of all the features like last date of their driving license, safe driving score.The federation says that this platform is similar to the way the Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network works. Here one stop solution for every road related problem will be found.

The platform will have a unified data relating to road audit, enforcement, emergency care, and insurance providers and will connect users with road operating officers, enforcement agencies and emergency service providers, IRF said in a statement.

This road safety digital platform will be like CoWIN (Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network), a one-stop solution for all needs of road commuters. It will contain login-based unique and secure information about road users, including their driving license, safe driving score, license validity, insurance policy, e-challan and penalty (if any) as well as vehicle details such as vehicle Registration, challan, vehicle insurance related information will have to be updated. There will also be a dashboard of users on this platform, which will contain their information.

IRF India President Satish Parekh said that the blockchain-based digital platform will provide end-to-end systems with mobile apps, a one stop solution to users by bringing various databases at one place through API (Application Programming Interface).
