Now the names of Yeti Narasimhanand and Sagar Sindhu Maharaj have also been included in the FIR against the Dharma Sansad held in Haridwar. This information was shared by Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar.
According to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, on the basis of the viral video clip, two more names Sagar Sindhu Maharaj and Yeti Narasimhanand Giri have been added to the FIR in the Dharma Sansad hate speech case after further investigation. Apart from this, section 295A has been included in the FIR.
In December last year, controversial Hindutva leader Yeti Narasimhanand organized a three-day conference in Uttarakhand's pilgrimage town of Haridwar from December 17 to 19, where several calls were made to kill minorities and attack their religious places.
After the video went viral on social media, Uttarakhand Police filed an FIR after coming under the scanner. Then only Wasim Rizvi alias Jeetendra Narayan Tyagi was named in the FIR. This action of the police also raised questions as Yeti Narasimhanand, Sadhvi Annapurna, and Sagar Sindhu Maharaj were seen giving provocative speeches in the viral video.
