Dhamtari Accident: 10 lives lost head-on collision between truck, Bolero

Dhamtari Accident: In an unfortunate incident, 10 members of a family died on Wednesday evening in a tragic road accident in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh.

The members of the family died on the spot when a Bolero collided with a truck. Many people, including a child, were injured in the road accident. The injured were admitted to the nearest hospital. He was admitted to Raipur after first aid.

The collision between the Bolero and the truck took place near Jagta on the Kanker National Highway.

It is said that the family was going from Soram to Markatola when the incident took place. Speaking to ANI, Balod SP Jitendra Kumar Yadav said, “10 people died and a child was seriously injured in a truck-car collision near Jagatra in Balod district. The injured have been admitted to Raipur for better treatment”. They added that the search for driver of is underway.

Dhamtari Accident: Loss of life

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed grief over the loss of lives and wished speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. On the other hand, shortly after the accident, the Purur police reached the spot and sent the bodies to the hospital for postmortem. Police has also registered an FIR.
