DGCA Director General: Vikram Dev Dutt will be the next Director General of DGCA, cabinet approved
Vikram Dev Dutt is a senior officer in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) who has now been appointed as the next Director General in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment.

Vikram Dev Dutt was appointed as the next Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the appointment of Vikram Dev Dutt on Saturday. He will be the next Director General of DGCA.
Vikram Dev Dutt is a senior officer in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) who has now been appointed as the next Director General in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment.
As per the information, Dutt is an IAS officer of AGMUT 1993 batch and is currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Air India Asset Holding Limited. He will take over as the DGCA chief on February 28 upon the superannuation of DGCA chief Arun Kumar. Arun Kumar, a 1989 batch IAS officer, was heading the DGCA since July 2019.
