Design your home with this eco-conscious art project!
Do you remember the cardboard box in which your television used to deliver? You initially stored it and then eventually threw it away. However, this company wants you to give it a second chance!

People nowadays find time spent working on home décor to be enjoyable, not only because it requires less energy but also because it contributes to a pleasant environment, and of course due to the pandemic. Certainly, decorating one's home by restoring old items contributes to a beautiful and balanced place to live, from rearranging the interior to removing clutter. Furthermore, with a greater emphasis on sustainability, individuals are more inclined to use old or surplus materials in their homes to create a trendy interior design.
In fact, various industries are actively involved in decreasing waste and transitioning to recyclable and sustainable materials for the home.
Indeed, decorating a living area can be difficult, since purchasing household furnishings may necessitate additional cash. Yet, repurposing old or leftover materials allows one to breathe fresh air without spending a fortune. In reality, DIY décor is all about reusing existing pieces and features to create a personalised home that is also eco-conscious. And now, it appears that the electronics giant, Samsung, has joined the upcycling bandwagon by packing their new lifestyle TVs in reusable boxes.
The Out of the Box Competition, which was held from April 6 to May 29, 2020, built on the momentum of Samsung's eco-friendly packaging, which was introduced earlier last year in an attempt to lessen the company's environmental imprint.
In this eco-conscious packaging, Samsung is providing people with instructions on how to transform their product boxes into small pieces of furniture.
The innovative reusable boxes from Samsung can be turned into anything from cardboard kitten shelters to bookshelves and even miniature end tables.
