In Prayagraj, there is an allegation of killing a dengue patient due to offering seasonal juice instead of platelets. This sensational case is related to Jhalwa area of Prayagraj. Due to dengue, Pradeep Kumar Pandey was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. It is alleged that here the patient was given seasonal juice instead of platelets, due to which he lost his life. After the matter came to the social media, the administration has sealed the hospital.
Saurabh Tripathi, brother-in-law of Pradeep Kumar Pandey, told that when his brother-in-law Pradeep Kumar Pandey's platelets started decreasing and reached 12-13 thousand, the doctors of the hospital asked him to arrange 8 units of platelets. After this, the relatives of Pradeep Kumar Pandey managed 3 units of platelets. Due to this there was a slight improvement in Pradeep's condition but the remaining five units of platelets were not available.

During this, out of 5 units of platelets purchased for Rs 25000, the remaining one unit of platelets was shown to the doctors of that private hospital by the family members of Pradeep, then they said that it does not contain platelets, but instead of platelets, there is seasonal juice and chemical is also mixed.
