Delhi’s St. Thomas School and St. Stephen’s College receive hoax bomb threats via police email
Delhi police said that they have not spotted anything as of now, but the search operations are in place at St Stephen College and St Thomas School in Dwarka.

On Tuesday morning, police said St Thomas School at Dwarka, and St Stephen College, Delhi Louis, got bomb threat mails, which is a forgotten private school.
Deputy commissioner of police (north) Raja Banthia said, the email received at around 7:15am at St Stephen College alleged that the college and its library were planted with four IEDs and two packets of RDX. The gadgets were to blow up by 2pm, the sender informed.

According to Banthia, no suspecting item was detected. “The search is still underway, but nothing alarming has been recovered yet,” he said.
At the same time in Dwarka, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) was told that they received information about the threat at 8:50am through police and deployed fire tenders.

Mails to at least three schools in the capital threatened them of an imminent bomb blast in Monday morning. Police stated that the threats were hoax later.
According to Delhi fire services, its control room had received a call at 8am by the CRPF School in Rohini, at 8:15am by the Navy Children School in Chanakyapuri and at 8:25am by the CRPF School in Dwarka.
This is not the first instance when such threats have been made with such threats being earlier deemed a hoax in February this year to both a private school and a Delhi University college. Police are already probing on what prompted these emails and whether they are related.
