Delhi Winter: Severe cold is about to start in Delhi
According to IMD, due to snowfall in the hilly states, the plains are getting colder, due to which the maximum and minimum temperatures will decrease in the next 6-7 days. That is, in the coming days, the cold is going to increase in NCR including the capital.

The cold continues to increase in Delhi-NCR. The minimum temperature here on Tuesday was recorded at 7.3 degrees Celsius, which is three notches below normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.6 degree Celsius on Monday, which was two notches above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold is expected to increase further in the coming days. IMD told that from the first week of December, the cold will come in its original form. On December 1, the minimum temperature will drop to 7 degree Celsius and on December 5, the minimum temperature will drop to 6 degree while the maximum temperature will be up to 26 degree. According to the Meteorological Department, cold will increase in many areas of North India as well. A cold wave-like situation is being created in some areas of Rajasthan. For the next 5 days, the minimum temperature in northwest and central India may remain close to 8 degrees.
Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has been recording a steady drop in temperature for the last few days. On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 14 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degree Celsius. Whereas, the minimum and maximum temperature in Noida was 11 degree Celsius and 29 degree Celsius respectively. Whereas in Varanasi, the minimum temperature was 14 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 27 degree Celsius.
