Delhi Weather Update: Sunday was the hottest day of the season, temperature crossed 34 degrees.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that more or less similar weather will prevail on Monday. It will be partly cloudy to say, but the maximum and minimum can be 34 and 16 degree Celsius respectively.

Amid the ever-increasing heat, the day temperature in Delhi crossed 34 degrees on Sunday. It was recorded more than 35 degrees in three areas. The scorching sun also made the residents of Delhi feel the stinging heat.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that there is no chance of drop in temperature for the next four to five days. Yes, light rain is possible on Tuesday. It was sunny in the morning itself. As the day progressed, it became more intense. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal. This is the highest so far this season.
It was even higher in three areas i.e. 35.6 in Najafgarh, 35.4 in Pitampura and 35.2 degree Celsius in Sports Complex. Delhi's minimum temperature on Sunday was a normal level of 15.2 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded from 27 to 85 percent. The minimum temperature also went up to 19.4 degree Celsius in Pitampura and 20.0 degree Celsius in Sports Complex. The Meteorological Department has predicted that more or less similar weather will prevail on Monday. It will be partly cloudy to say, but the maximum and minimum can be 34 and 16 degree Celsius respectively. The temperature will not drop on Tuesday as well. However, light rain is possible. On Wednesday, these temperatures can reach 35 and 17 degrees respectively.
A day earlier it was recorded 200. That is, within 24 hours it increased by 16 points. In NCR cities, the AQI of Faridabad was recorded at 210, Ghaziabad at 238, Greater Noida at 182, Gurugram at 222 and Noida at 229. There has been an increase in the AQI of all these places. The air index category in Greater Noida is "moderate" while all others are "poor". Safar India says that the wind speed on Sunday was calm to six km per hour. For this reason the pollutant particles could not be filtered. The same situation may continue till the next three days.
