Delhi to Jaipur now in 3 hours, PM Modi inaugurated the first phase of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
Due to the opening of this expressway, people will now be able to reach Jaipur in three and a half hours instead of five hours. With this, the PM laid the foundation stone for road development projects worth over Rs 18,100 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi Delhi to Jaipur Expressway) has given a special gift today to the people going from the capital Delhi to Jaipur. The PM inaugurated the 246 km long Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Due to the opening of this expressway, people will now be able to reach Jaipur in three and a half hours instead of five hours. With this, the PM laid the foundation stone for road development projects worth over Rs 18,100 crore.
On inaugurating the expressway in Dausa, Rajasthan, PM Modi said that for the last 9 years, the central government has been continuously investing heavily in infrastructure. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor are going to become two strong pillars of progress for Rajasthan and the country.
PM Modi said that when such modern roads, railway stations, airports, metros are built, the country progresses. Modi said that investment in infrastructure attracts other types of investment as well. He said that in this year's budget, we have made a provision of Rs 10 lakh crore for infrastructure. This amount is five times the amount provisioned in 2014 and Rajasthan is going to benefit greatly from this investment.
