Delhi News : JNU once again in controversy, casteist slogans written on the walls of the building

A case of writing casteist words and slogans on several buildings of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus has come to the fore on Thursday. After this, the picture of slogans written on these buildings started going viral on social media as well. JNU students claimed that slogans against certain communities were written on the walls of the School of International Studies-II building. Along with this, the walls of the buildings were also vandalised.
Taking cognizance of the caste-indicative words written on the walls, the JNU Vice-Chancellor has sought a report from the head of the School of International Studies and the complaints committee after probing the matter at the earliest. The Vice Chancellor has said regarding the matter that JNU talks about equality, such incidents will not be tolerated here at all.
Rohit Kumar on behalf of ABVP said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad condemns large scale vandalism of educational places by leftist goons. He further said that academic spaces should be used for debate and discussion and not for poisoning the society and community of students.University students have also shared their reaction regarding the incident. He told that these slogans were written on Wednesday night. However, it is not known who wrote these slogans.
