Delhi NCR Weather Update: Rain in many areas of NCR

Due to the active western disturbance, the weather pattern has changed in Delhi-NCR. In Delhi, where the sky has been partly cloudy since Wednesday morning and some areas have been reported to have drizzle, while Delhi's Prashant Vihar has also received hailstorms of heavy rain.

According to the latest forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department, moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with a speed of 30-50 km/h will occur in the next few hours in and around some places over South Delhi, South-East Delhi. These include RK Puram, Defense Colony, Hauz Khas, Malviyanagar, Mehrauli, Chhatarpur, IGNOU and Ayanagar areas. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the next few hours in Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad and Ballabgarh of NCR.

The activity of Western Disturbance has completely changed the weather pattern of Delhi-NCR. There has been no heat wave for the last four days and there has been a respite from the heat due to the drop in the maximum temperature. At the same time, for the last two days, the humidity has definitely increased the difficulties of the people. On Wednesday, people who came out of their homes to go to work and office were seen sweating because of the heat.
