Delhi NCR Pollution: Delhi-NCR's air remains 'stifling', AQI exceeds 500 in many areas
Delhi-NCR may be the most noisy about stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana, but it has started to emerge that the effect of stubble burning is visible in major cities of North and East India as well.

After Diwali in Delhi-NCR, there is a haze in the atmosphere once again. In addition, the air quality continues to deteriorate. On Saturday morning, the average air quality index (AQI) of the national capital Delhi was recorded at 431, which is the 'severe' category of air quality.
Whereas, Noida (UP) has an AQI of 529 in 'severe' category, Gurugram (Haryana) 478 in 'severe' category and 534 near Dhirpur (Delhi) in 'severe' category.

Delhi NCR remained in the Red Zone in terms of air quality for the second consecutive day on Friday. The Air Quality Index (AQI) of all the places remained above 400 i.e. in the severe category. In Sector-11 and 16 of Faridabad, it went up to 500. In Delhi's Bawana area, it went up to 498.
