Delhi Liquor Scam Case : ED action in liquor policy case, Businessman Amit Arora arrested
The party said that the CBI charge sheet states that all the allegations against Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were fake and fabricated. BJP should apologize to the whole country for this.

The case of alleged scam in Delhi Government's new Excise Policy does not seem to stop. In the latest case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested businessman Amit Arora on Wednesday. Amit Arora is the Director of Buddy Retail Pvt Ltd.
When questions were raised about irregularities in the new excise policy of the Delhi government, Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena had recommended a CBI inquiry on July 22 regarding alleged violations of rules and procedural lapses in the Kejriwal government's new excise policy 2021-22.
In the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam, CBI has filed a charge sheet of 10,000 pages against 7 accused on 25th November. Delhi's Deputy CM Sisodia's name is not there in this. CBI has filed this charge sheet in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. The next hearing in the matter will be held on November 30. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) attacked the BJP when Sisodia's name did not appear in the charge sheet. The party said that the CBI charge sheet states that all the allegations against Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were fake and fabricated. BJP should apologize to the whole country for this.
The CBI charge sheet includes two arrested businessmen, the chief of a news channel, a liquor baron from Hyderabad, a liquor distributor from Delhi and two officials of the Excise Department. Vijay Nair, Abhishek Boinpally, Arun Pillai, Sameer Mahendru, Gautam Mutha, Kuldeep Singh and Narendra Singh have been named in the charge sheet. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had announced on 1 August 2022 that the old liquor policy would be implemented. In a press conference, he said – The central government has made the entry of CBI in this policy, due to which no one is ready to take the contract. That's why we will not implement the new system. When the file was sent to the Lieutenant Governor in this regard on 8th July, after that the ruckus started.
