Delhi IGI Airport: Passengers arriving five hours before the flight due to crowd, fear of missing the flight

The problems of passengers continue at Terminal-3 of Delhi's IGI Airport. Security screening is still taking two to two and a half hours from entering the terminal to passing through the security area. Alam is that in view of the long queue of investigation, where the airlines are asking the passengers to come two and a half to three and a half hours before, many passengers are reaching the airport five to six hours before and requesting to enter the terminal. These are the passengers who are scared that if they are delayed, they may miss their flight.

Even after repeated persuasion by the security and dial personnel, the passengers do not agree to leave the terminal or go back. However, at present only Indigo Airlines is asking passengers to reach the airport three hours before the scheduled time. No such instructions have been received from other airlines.

Dial sources say that in the light of instructions given by Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia after his visit to Terminal-3 on Monday, the works to be implemented will take a few days to complete. It should be expected that in the coming seven days the situation will be completely changed. At present, some steps have been taken immediately to reduce the inconvenience of the passengers.
