Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday (February 26) on charges of scam in the Delhi Excise Policy (2021-22) after eight hours of long questioning. After this, on Monday, Rouse Avenue Court sent him to CBI custody for five days (till February 4). After this, Sisodia filed a petition challenging the arrest in the Supreme Court. Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain resigned from their ministerial posts on Monday evening (February 27). Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also accepted the resignation of both. After this, on February 28, the LG accepted the resignation. Satyendar Jain was arrested on May 30 and is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
These include Education, Finance, Planning, Land and Building, Services, Tourism, Art-Culture and Language, Awareness, Labor and Employment, Public Works Department besides Health, Industry, Power, Home, Urban Development, Irrigation and Flood Control and Water Department.
