Delhi Corona: The speed of corona increased in Delhi, around 2 thousand new cases found in 24 hours

Corona cases have started increasing rapidly in the national capital. The speed at which this pace is increasing can be gauged from the fact that during the period of 24 hours, 1964 new cases have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, during this period 8 people lost their lives due to Corona. However, there has been some decrease in the corona positivity rate, which had reached 20 percent in the past. Cases of Covid have started increasing in Delhi too. According to the data of the Health Department, in a period of 24 hours, close to 2 thousand cases of corona were reported. At the same time, the number of people recovering from Corona was 1939. The total active cases of Covid in Delhi are 6826. At the same time, the positivity rate of Corona was 9.42 percent. Earlier on Wednesday also, more than 1600 cases were registered in Delhi. But these cases went from 1600 to 1964 in a single day. The reason for the increase in the cases of corona in the capital is the sub-variant of Omicron. Doctors say that new cases of Covid have increased rapidly after Omicron's BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants became active in the capital.

In the country's financial capital Mumbai also, cases of corona virus have gathered pace again. The number of corona patients jumped again on Thursday. On Wednesday, 975 cases of infection were reported in the city while two patients died.
