Delhi allows schools to reopen with 50% force from November 1

Delhi schools will reopen from November 1, Monday for all classes. However, parents will not be forced to send their children to school. All classes will continue in hybrid mode with 50% class attendance. The DDMA has also stated that Chhath Puja celebrations be allowed in Delhi, but certain strict protocols must be followed. Only a limited number of people will be allowed according to the Covid protocols.

The number of cases of the coronavirus in the Delta AY.2 variant rose to 7 in Karnataka, after three more people were found infected in the city. The center and the state will take action to control the superspreader variant of COVID19, which has spread to some foreign countries. India will soon launch guidelines for the Covid19 vaccination campaign for children.

The first priority group will be children with comorbidities such as cancer, respiratory, neurological, rheumatic, cardiac, hepatic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and developmental disorders.
