Delhi Police's PCR received a call at around 9 am regarding the incident of acid attack on a girl in Mohan Garden police station area. It is reported that a 17-year-old girl was attacked by two bike-borne men allegedly using some acid-like substance around 7.30 am today. The victim was accompanied by her younger sister at the time of the incident. The victim has raised suspicion on two acquaintances.
Regarding the incident, Delhi Police said that the girl student is undergoing treatment in the hospital. As per initial reports, his condition is stable. The doctor will be able to tell better about the future.
Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal has taken cognizance of the acid attack case on the student. Swati Maliwal tweeted, "Acid was thrown at a schoolgirl near Dwarka Mod.
