Trolled for Asking Job Candidate: Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato, was mocked when he posted a job vacancy on social media for the position of Chief of Staff.

Social media users responded to the role, which is based at Zomato's headquarters in Gurugram, due to its unusual conditions, which include a high Rs 20 lakh fee and no pay for the first year.

Goyal shared the job's images on X, along with details on the responsibilities and qualifications of the selected applicant.

According to the post, the ideal candidate would have "hunger," "empathy," and "common sense," but no notable past experience or sense of entitlement.

Additionally, the job description said that the position was meant for those who were keen to learn and support Zomato's development, including its subsidiaries.

Blinkit, Hyperpure, and Feeding India, rather than those engaged in resume building or financial gain.

In the second year, the selected candidate will begin receiving a lucrative remuneration of over Rs 50 annually.

However, the statement drew criticism from social media users, who described the employment offer as "exploitative".

One person said, "They [candidates] will surely go hungry after the loan for 20 lakh," while another wrote, "As if exploring the Gig economy workers wasn’t enough, now kick the middle-class parent because a food delivery company with inflated pricing wants a chief of staff. Just say you want to test 100 people in one year without paying."

Goyal himself reacted to the comment by saying: "No, we just want one person who gets the point Not 100.
