Decision in cabinet meeting; 76 thousand crores scheme approved for semi conductor production

Giving information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the ambitious plan has been approved to establish the entire ecosystem of semiconductor and display manufacturers. In this, the government will spend Rs 76000 crore in 6 years.

The scheme of incentives to promote RuPay Debit Card and BHIM UPI transactions of low value, schemes of Ministry of Jalshakti have also been approved.
