Dead body kept in fridge after killing girlfriend in Delhi, victim's family demands death penalty

Recently, a case of murder like Shraddha Walkar has come to the fore in Delhi. In fact, the police have recovered the dead body of a girl from the fridge and have also arrested the accused boy. The girl whose dead body was recovered from the fridge is a resident of Khedi village of Jhajjar. The girl was living in live-in with her boyfriend for many years. Both had met while preparing for the medical entrance exam in Delhi. In this case, it is being told that the boyfriend killed the girl in Delhi. After the murder, the dead body was kept in the fridge. The relatives of the deceased demanded death penalty to the accused. The last rites of the girl will be performed in her village. The relatives have left for Delhi to take the dead body. The accused has been identified as Sahil Gehlot. Giving information about the case, the police said that the girl's body was found inside the freezer of a dhaba in Najafgarh, South-West Delhi.

Police said that the girl was murdered two-three days ago and her body was kept inside the freezer of the dhaba. Dhaba owner Sahil Gehlot has been arrested. Police officer Vikram Singh told that there was a relationship between Gehlot and the woman. Gehlot was about to marry another woman, when his girlfriend came to know about it, she opposed it and asked him to marry her. Enraged by this, Gehlot killed him and hid the body in the freezer of his dhaba.

Earlier, 28-year-old Poonawala had allegedly strangled Shraddha Walkar to death on May 18, 2022 and kept the body in a freeze at home for about three weeks before disposing of it. Later, in several days, he had put the pieces of the dead body in different parts of the city. Aftab and Shraddha met through a dating site, and later they started living together in a rented house. The Delhi Police had registered an FIR on November 10 after receiving a complaint from Shraddha's father.
