The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested an assistant director of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in a case of alleged bribery. CBI officials gave this information on Friday.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested an assistant director of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in a case of alleged bribery. CBI officials gave this information on Friday. The CBI had registered a case against DDA Assistant Director Pankaj Kumar on the basis of a complaint.
CBI spokesperson RC Joshi said, "Pankaj Kumar has also been alleged that after negotiations he had agreed to accept a bribe of Rs 30,000." After preliminary investigation, the central probe agency laid a trap and Pankaj Kumar was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant. RC Joshi said, “Searchs were conducted at three places in the premises of the accused. The arrested accused will be produced in a Delhi court."
