Cyber attack on Delhi AIIMS raised in Lok Sabha, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave answers
The minister said, “Lakhs of cyber attacks happen every day. We are successful in stopping most of the attacks. Vaishnav said that the government is taking steps to improve the condition of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and it is also improving.

The issue of cyber attack on Delhi AIIMS was also raised in the Lok Sabha. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Wednesday that to ensure cyber security, work is going on at multi-dimensional level and several steps have also been taken. In reply to a supplementary question by BJP member Sukanta Majumdar in the Lok Sabha, he also informed that lakhs of cyber attacks happen every day in the country, but most of the attacks are stopped.
The minister said, “Lakhs of cyber attacks happen every day. We are successful in stopping most of the attacks. Vaishnav said that the government is taking steps to improve the condition of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and it is also improving. Targeting the opposition members, he said that the time is gone when BSNL was only a medium for the benefit of a few people.
In response to another supplementary question, the minister said, “Data security is an important issue. For this, the Prime Minister has given guidance regarding creating a new and comprehensive legal framework. There are two bills related to this. Members give their opinion on these.
