Cricket Fraternity pays tribute to Shane Warne

The world cricket fraternity has expressed shock at the sudden death of Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne. He died in Thailand due to a possible heart attack.

Virat Kohli took to his Twitter handle @imVkohli and wrote, “Life is so fickle and unpredictable. I cannot process the passing of this great of our sport and also a person I got to know off the field. RIP #goat. Greatest to turn the cricket ball.”

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag wrote, “Cannot believe it. One of the greatest spinners, the man who made spin cool, superstar Shane Warne is no more. Life is very fragile, but this is very difficult to fathom. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans all around the world.”

Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer said, ”Whenever he came to the wicket, change came over the game of Cricket” My mind just cannot accept that Shane Warne is no more. Gone too soon.. Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends..RIP Warnie”

Cheteshwar Pujara too expressed shock and wrote, “Sad and shocking. One of the true greats of the game. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.”

Former Indian cricketer K Srikkanth, known for his aggressive batting, said, “Shocking to hear the demise of Shane Warne ! He was one of the greatest wrist spinners to ever grace the game! My heartfelt condolences to his family , friends and fans from across the world! May his soul rest in peace”
