COVID19 Update: Corona cases crossed 2500 on Monday

On Monday morning, when the data was released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare regarding daily infection cases of corona, 2,541 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours, 1,862 people were discharged and 30 people from corona died.

More than 187.71 crore vaccines have been administered so far under the nationwide Covid Vaccination. The number of active patients in India is 16,522. The rate of active cases is 0.04 percent. The current recovery rate is 98.75 percent. In the last twenty-four hours, 1,862 people have been cured from the infection. The total number of people who have recovered so far is 4,25,21,341. In the last 24 hours, 2,541 new cases were reported. The rate of daily active cases is 0.84 percent. The weekly active cases rate is 0.54 percent.

India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 187.71 crore (1,87,71,95,781) as of 7 am today, last reported. This achievement has been achieved through 2,30,40,984 vaccination sessions. The COVID-19 vaccination for the 12-14 age group started on March 16, 2022. So far, more than 2.66 crore (2,66,55,947) adolescents have been administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, Precaution dosage for 18-59 age group was started on 10th April, 2022. So far 4,17,414 precaution doses have been administered for the vaccination.
