Covid Cases forecasted at an exponential 2000 cases per day in Mumbai

Shiv Sena’s Aaditya Thackeray stated that Mumbai might be crossing the 2,000 covid cases today. Certain reporters asked him if he believed this was the initiation of the third wave, he mentioned that was something for the medical fraternity to decide. It is the time to follow all Covid protocols and get vaccinated. That’s the only way to ensure that a third wave does not comes.

Mumbai is already ensuring an increment in the hospital infrastructure and abundant oxygen cylinders. Along with it, the city is mandating vaccinated people only in the public places. Also the vaccination drive is being incremented so that the unvaccinated adults and childrens are vaccinated as rapid as possible:

Mumbai had over 1,377 Covid cases over a 24-hour period, up from 809 cases the previous day. The spike in the number is a worrisome one as Omnicron dominates the world. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope also tweeted and asked the public to stay vigilant as this is an alarming situation.
