Covid 19 Updates : More than 81 thousand active corona patients in the country, infection rate increased at 4 %

Corona is spreading its feet rapidly in the country. The number of active patients has crossed 81 thousand. There has also been an increase in the infection rate. According to the Union Health Ministry, the infection rate of corona in the country has now increased to 3.94 percent.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 12,249 new corona patients have appeared in the country today whereas, 9,923 cases were reported on Tuesday. This number is 2,326 more than yesterday.  At the same time, 9,862 people defeated Corona. There are now 81,687 active corona patients in the country. There has been an increase of 2374 in active corona patients as compared to yesterday.

In the capital Delhi, 1383 new cases of corona have been found in the last 24 hours, while one patient died. The infection rate has come down with new cases. In the last one day itself, the infection rate has come down from 10.09 percent to 7.22 percent. It is also a matter of relief that 1162 patients have defeated Corona.

Kerala has the highest number of deaths due to corona in the last 24 hours in the country. Here eight people became victims of corona. Apart from this, there has been one death each in Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
