Covid 19 updates : Corona cases declined again after a day, but the number of deaths increased

There has been a decline in the corona cases once again in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 1,260 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, yesterday 1335 new cases were found. At the same time, 1,404 people have been cured by beating Corona during this time and 83 people have died due to Corona. With this, now the total corona cases have increased to 4,30,27,035 and the total number of deaths has increased to 5,21,264.

With the decline in corona cases, the number of active cases has also come down. According to the Ministry of Health, now the total active cases have gone up to 13,445. At the same time, with the increase in recovery, the total number of corona cured patients has increased to 4,24,92,326. With this, now the total recovery rate has also increased to 98.76 percent.

Despite the decreasing cases of corona, the vaccination campaign is working really fast. The total vaccination coverage in the country has now crossed 184.49 crores till Friday evening. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 16 lakh (16,02,786) doses of vaccine have been given till 7 pm yesterday. Meanwhile, so far more than 1.80 crore (1,80,15,991) vaccination doses have been given to children in the age group of 12-14 years across the country.
